Poker Strike Pro Guide: Playing Around Infinite Swap Events

by Wyrelade#2750 ·

Poker Strike Pro Guide: Mastering Infinite Swap Events

The Infinite Swap Event happens every 5 rounds and is one of the most important rounds in the game. During the event, all players receive unlimited free swaps for a limited time, allowing them to build the strongest possible hand without spending gold.

Because swaps are free, the real strategy is not saving gold for rerolls. The goal is saving gold for the reward that comes after the event.

Why Infinite Swap Is So Important

The team that deals the most total damage during the Infinite Swap round receives:

  • 5 gold for every player on the winning team
  • Losing teams receive nothing

This creates a major economic swing every 5 rounds.

The Halt Strategy

As an Infinite Swap round approaches, consider reducing unnecessary spending.

  1. Play normally after an Infinite Swap round ends.
  2. When the next Infinite Swap is 1 to 2 rounds away, start evaluating purchases more carefully.
  3. Preserve gold whenever possible.
  4. Enter the Infinite Swap round with a strong economy.
  5. Win the event and collect the bonus 5 gold.
  6. Ideally have enaugh gold to halt if your team ends up having less damage. 3 full houses can beat 1 royal flush with a good halt and unit placing.

If successful, you not only keep your saved gold but also gain the event reward.

Before Infinite Swap

Good players often:

  • Avoid expensive all in upgrades.
  • Delay risky purchases.
  • Keep enough gold to capitalize on a win.
  • Focus on maintaining a competitive board rather than forcing upgrades.

During Infinite Swap

  • Swap aggressively since swaps are free.
  • Do not settle for mediocre hands.
  • Chase stronger combinations than you normally would.
  • Use the entire timer.
  • Coordinate with teammates when possible since team damage determines the winner.

Common Mistake

Many players spend all their gold right before Infinite Swap trying to gain a small advantage.

Even if they win the event, they have little economy remaining to convert that victory into future strength.

Pro Rule

The closer an Infinite Swap round is, the more valuable each point of saved gold becomes.

Winning Infinite Swap is not just about building the best hand. It is about entering the event with enough resources to turn the 5 gold reward into a lasting economic advantage.
